  2. THE ENZYMES HELP TO BREAK UP COMPLEX FOOD MOLECULES INTO SIMPLE DIFFUSIBLE SUBTANCES.
  3. THE ENZYMES SPEED UP THE PROCESS OF DIGESTION BUT THEY THEMSELVES REMAIN UNCHANGED AT THE END OF THE REACTIONS.
  4. ENZYMES FUNCTION BEST AT BODY TEMPERATURE ( 36.9*C) AND ARE DESTROYED AT HIGH TEMPERATURE.
  5. EACH ENZYMES HELPS IN THE DIGESTION OF A SPECIFIC FOOD. ENZYMES WORK IN AN ACIDIC MEDIUM.
